The Big Competition in Entertainment System – LED or Plasma Television

The TV family has grown itself with plenty of new members in their family such as LCD and Plasma.   Now there are products such as LED back lights which is popularly known as LED TV.

Although there are several advantages of having a LED TV, but there are some qualities that make difference and give this technology the preferred one among the audience.  The most prominent among them are color, depth and energy efficiency. When we compare the two popular products of LCD and Plasma television, LED television have black color in dark and white which is brighter. This is called contrast ratio and one will see these features in most of the television.

Secondly, the incredible slim LED TV’s make it perfect according to the room size and space availability.  The higher the ratio, the better it will be in contrasting and so will be the picture quality. The best part is they consume less energy which will save lot of money and help you to go green.  The final one – it can be watched from any angle, the color will be comparatively sharper, clear and deep.  

 

Plasma television can give you detailed bright picture, they too have slim designing that can be set on the wall or on the stand. These televisions are known for smooth motions, impressive contrast level pictures and high quality colors.

There are other things that one has to keep in mind, the plasma is not available in smaller screen sizes, and they will be 42 inches or even larger.  One can get local plasma TVs around $400, but they are not generally good idea for small spaces as in kitchen. Secondly, there are some plasma television screen that reflects room light.
